All are welcome, except for the greatest President we ever had, who enshrined many of the founding traditions of the greatest country on Earth.

Fuck them.

It just shows they fail to understand the history that gave them the rights they so abuse.

Boggles the mind.

I've ceased being even surprised, much less outraged, by the senselessness. Now I just shake my head at Yet More Abject Cluelessness and move on with my life.

Wait a second here. If you listen to the revisionist historians, all of the founding fathers were deists. So how is it that Washington attended a Christian church?

Assholes. If they really mean it they ought to remove the whole pew and delete all references to GW from their website!

If the church was smart, they'd thank the Lord that their nutbag congregants left the church over a plaque noting that one of our founding fathers prayed there. Next those same people would complain that the depiction of Christ as a white male was racist, or Moses, or Abraham. Maybe the will also protest Eve being a woman?

For fucks sake when does this madness end? What's next book burnings?

That statement by the church is one of the stupidest things I think I've ever heard. Who runs the church, the mentally retarded? So what happens when some mental midget cry baby scumbag complains the church is unwelcoming or scary because of all the white paint? Do they bend and re-paint in some unoffensive pastel? You and I both know the answer to that question.

We're currently living in a very bad version of the Twilight Zone.

George Washington slaves" were treated very well and were even allowed to go into Alexandria to offer wares etc for sale, their own little businesses as it were!
Slavery had always existed, America was the first country to attempt to do something about it!
Hell, it still exists today.

These people make so much noise through the amplification of the complicit "media's" megaphone that they seem more numerous and more important than they really are. Most Americans know that George Washington was a great man. If they really knew the details of his life they would see that even among the great men and women of history, he was a giant.

What was it General Kelly said about empty barrels?

Because if one reads the original sources, they were not all deists. Not even close. Washington's revision started in 1926. Prior to that, people considered the writings and actions of the Founders themselves. Schoolchildren were familiar with their names. People looked at the good they did, the sacrifices they made, and treated them with respect.

One need only visit some of the historical places related to our Nation's founding to know God had a hand in raising up this Nation. That is unless one is deaf, dumb, and blind, or has another agenda.

It ends when we, as a society, do what should have been done from the beginning of this movement. Mock them, tell them to grow up, ignore them, and walk away.

As long as we continue to pay attention to them and give them any standing, it will continue.

I am with the monkey on this.

These people are going to keep pushing their brand of lunacy on us until someone among us snaps and they are going to be very unhappy with the watershed of pain and misery that follows.

Let's get it done soon. I'm tired of their shit.
