I'll say, it would be hilarious if the first woman governor of California were actually a Republican man. However, let's be real here. He (Jenner) is clearly a very confused individual and should be nowhere near a position of power in this country. ~Alan Acta Non Verba NRA Life Member (Patron) God, Family, Guns, Country Men will fight and die to protect women... because women protect everything else. ~Andrew Klavan

Neither should Newsom or any other number of the people who have registered to run that State and the theater around it would be great...

No freaking way: Caitlyn Jenner gets just 6% support in poll of California governor candidates https://nypost.com/2021/05/13/...governor-candidates/ Despite going on a major media blitz, Caitlyn Jenner’s bid to become the next governor of California is off to a slow start — with just 6 percent support in a new poll. The high-profile former Olympian and reality TV star got “anemic support” in the UC Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies poll that was co-sponsored by the Los Angeles Times, the paper said. “Even among Republicans, only 13 percent say they’d be inclined to vote for her,” said Mark DiCamillo, director of the poll. “It’s a very poor showing.” The single-digit support was especially surprising given that Jenner, 71, has been given so much press coverage for her run, including TV interviews on Fox News and CNN. _________________________ "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." He’s not female. Those who throw in with them who refer to him in the feminine are like those afraid to tell the king he’s naked. You’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier

Surely among the many saying they are running for the office there must be someone more suitable? (And don't call me Shirley.) flashguy Texan by choice, not accident of birth

Exactly. I referred to this on other threads I believe> I refuse to embrace their narrative. I will always refer to these freaks by their gender at birth. Fuck 'em if they don't like it!

You would think this is a Kommiefornia match made in heaven. You have a substantial amount of Republicans that would be rated liberal by any other state and you have a substantial number of Dems that think he/she is normal. On the other hand a "normal" Repub would dismiss as a whacko and "normal" Dems that would shun at the thought of anything conservative. That apparently places him in no man's land (no pun intended).

Cox and Falconour are the leading GOP candidates but, given the gold fish mentality of CA voters, particularly the ones in LA & SF, who refuse to see the filth and squalor that their representatives have encouraged, I have a hard to believing any GOP candidate will get the necessary votes. Besides, the CA governor, while a visible position, is largely a watered-down seat as most of state power lays in the State Senate.
