Hi, I may be in the Santa Rosa area. Looking for two things, likely in / near Bodega Bay but a little up or down the coast is probably okay. Note - I've been to Tomales Bay Oyster Co. I could go but it'd be bit of a drive I think.

Looking for a place (oyster farm and/or restaurant) where I can buy oysters in the shell (say, a couple dozen). And then shuck myself on a beach somewhere - enjoy the view and the oysters.

Looking also for some recommendations for excellent seafood. Like fresh off the boat kind of experience. Someplace where the food would be memorable - ambiance is flexible.

So, looking for:

1. Place to buy oysters in the shell (I love ones like Blue Point or Kumamoto but will try others; prefer smaller rather than larger but again willing to try).

2. Beach with easy access to enjoy view and shuck the oysters. Prefer a spot where I don't have to be too situationally aware. I'll have some off-road capability.

3. Excellent seafood restaurants - prefer casual attire though. Can dress up if required. Not looking for 2lb lobsters per se. More like fresh off the boat salmon or crabs or halibut kind of stuff. But lobsters are good too. I can get good quality frozen stuff at home - looking for something worthy of eating near the ocean. Unlikely but a real, Japanese sushiya with a Japanese trained / certified chef would be a treat.
