Governor Kevin Stitt today named Brig. Gen. Thomas H. Mancino as The Adjutant General for Oklahoma and commander of the Oklahoma Army and Air National Guard.
Mancino played an integral leadership role on the Governor’s Solution Task Force during the initial stages of the state’s COVID-19 response. Previously, Mancino commanded a combat Task Force in Afghanistan from 2011-2012 and has three combat deployments.
Mancino’s appointment will require confirmation by the Oklahoma State Senate.
LinkThe newly installed head of the Oklahoma National Guard has ordered that troops under his command will not be forced to comply with the Pentagon's COVID-19 vaccine mandate for members of the armed forces.

chellim1More good news in Oklahoma:
Oklahoma’s AG reported last night that, “this evening, the Tulsa District Court granted the State’s Application for Temporary Restraining Order in our case to keep Ascension Healthcare from carrying out its plan to fire employees who were unfairly denied religious exemptions from their nationwide COVID-19 vaccination mandate. This is a win for religious freedom and our office will continue to fight against unlawful religious discrimination.”
Ascension has now removed that case to federal court. We’ll see what happens next, but this is huge. ANOTHER court pushing back.
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

bigdealExcellent news!
Ya know, at what point does someone with a functioning brain stem recognize there are so many opt outs through one means or another across the country that the mandate is utterly worthless?

kimber1911No jab, no job is not a myth.
It is reality for many.
Having General Mancino step up to protect the rights of his troops, is a move in the right direction.
Too few military leaders in the year 2021.
The Marine Corps is reinventing itself, to focus on ‘diversity and inclusion’…
