IANAL, but it should not be hard to prove that he funded radicals, knowing what they would do.

My ignorant legal side says maybe RICO?

They have had years to follow the money trail on who's funding these riots as these riots are certainly nothing new and not to mention it's been rather obvious for a long time who is the source of these funds and it should not take much of an investigation to provide the receipts of proof. We continue to allow ourselves to be fooled by all these claims of investigations and promises of accountability.
We can't count the four years under Biden.

Our DOJ is either inept or complicit. DOJ Barbie needs to go.

When an aircraft carrier performs a 180-degree turn while doing 60 knots, it is not like a car slamming on its brakes, turning around, and accelerating back to 60 mph in less than 20 seconds down the same path.

The ship will give the command to prepare for a hard turn to port (or starboard) for the crew to prepare, then the ship initiates the turn, the turn’s radius (not to be confused with diameter) is 1/4 to 1/3 of a mile while shedding speed the whole turn.

Once the maneuver is completed, the ship begins accelerating back to 60 knots and maneuvers to get on course to follow the reverse of the original course.

The ship needs about 10 minutes to complete the whole maneuver.

The DOJ is much bigger than and aircraft carrier.

That’s when the last carrier i was on would stop broadcasting, internally, the speed. Rumor was top speed around 70 knots on a smooth surface

35-40 was not uncommon especially to get air over the bow for launching (when there was no wind)

Ear damage by malicious wounding or aggravated assault, that's what I saw.

I think the first came back for seconds. Does that count as two or one?

I thought the average speed of most ships was 30-35 knots. A carrier can't outrun it's fleet. What do I know?
My hats off to you , Thanks for your service.
One more thing, why can't they say MPH instead of knots??

Not a chance a 100,000 ton fleet carrier is doing 60 knots. That's almost 70 mph.
Now 60 kilometers per hour is 32.3 knots. That is far more believable.
These things are easily googled.

Knots has to do with current and the old way of gauging speed when sailors had a calibrated rope with knots tied in it at calibrated lengths.

When the sailor would extend the rope into the water, the water would pull the rope and the sailor would count the number of knots pulled over time using the calibrated hour glass.

Very complicated. Most landlubbers won’t fathom it. Razz

Also, a carrier easily outrun the fleet to include those on the surface. Makes a shiton of noise but can outrun anything,

Show me any documented source that backs up your claim or are ye dipping in the grog this afternoon?

I love this thread about boats. </sarcasm>
FFS make a new thread about how fast a boat can go if you really wanna talk about it.

Nope on both.

I just know i was asked by the Skipper to leave the bridge at 55 knots and the ship was still accelerating.

Navigation is based on degrees, minutes, and seconds of latitude and longitude. One minute of latitude is 1 nautical mile, which is about 16% longer than 1 statute mile. Sixty minutes is one degree, and thus one degree of latitude is 60 nautical miles.

So it is a historically based thing. Navigational charts are scaled in nautical miles.

We can solve the Time/Speed/Distance navigation equation within one system of units. Measure the distance on the map you want to go or have gone, and either knowing speed or time you can solve for the unknown. Sort of like using feet and pounds for torque, e.g. 50 foot-pounds of torque to tighten a bolt, where it is cleaner even though we could use meter-pounds of torque.

More solid proof on how delusional / out of touch with reality / mentally unstable these people really are.
There’s 4 year olds that know there’s REAL BULLETS in guns.

And another reason why you can’t have a conversation with them.
They aren’t smart enough to know that Cops carry live ammunition.

Ok, back to talking about boats.
