I just joined Twitter.
Elon now has a poll up "Should I resign as CEO of Twitter?" - says he will abide by vote.
Lefties are votebombing the poll, "VoteYES" is trending.
This could be a disaster. If you're a Twitter member, please go vote "NO" on Musk resigning.

This may very well be the case. That, or maybe Elon will name himself to some other position at Twitter in the ultimate 'Level TEN' trolling maneuver!

Curiously though, I attempted to login to my Twitter account via my PC (My current Apple iPhone 6 iOS is NOT compatible with the Twitter app and I haven't logged in to Twitter in more than two years!), and I've been waiting for a 'Confirmation Code' in order to log on / 'protect my account from suspicious activity for over two hours now! I forwarded the link to the poll to numerous contacts, but I'm not concerned, as I'm quite sure Elon has a plane here.

What exactly does it mean, "step down as head of Twitter"?? Someone else can be the ceremonial "head", but Musk owns the company. He's not going anywhere.

Elon's got better things to do than be the CEO of Twitter. I always assumed he was temporarily holding the position until such time as he could appoint someone to head the company. So, like Patriot says, this isn't going to be a victory for the leftists. It's just another chess move from the Grandmaster Troller.

I would have to say the internet polls hold the same authority as the Magic Eight Ball or those paper fortune teller are that girls in grade school made to tell your love life.
