How many posts per day per person would you consider normal? How about excessive?

How many posts per day per person would you consider normal? How about excessive?
I posted that I average 4.5/day. Para has yelled at me a couple of times, but so far no one has demanded I shut up. Some of my posts are very short, and others may be long and detailed, depending on the subject. I'm not always (or even usually) very tactful, but I try not to be abusive. So far it's working.

I tried updating my email and the site wouldn't take it. It was willing verifications to a non existent email. So I started over Frown
I refrain from posting due to having to defend my pov ....
Don't know how to tell what my post count is anyway.

I'm between 2 and 3. Being out on short term 3 times for gut surgery and a busted arm helped! I was out twice for 6 weeks and once for 6 months.

I'd consider myself a fairly prolific poster, though still below some. And I don't see 5ish as "excessive".

Besides, I'm more like a 3ish per day poster, with occasional bursts of much greater frequency. Wink

I lurked on here for hmmmm....4 years maybe or more without posting. So, I actually have a lot less. .664 per day.
