FoxNews is approaching maximum suckage
My news comes from SigForum, X, and Bongino Report in that order. I haven't had anything to do with Fox since Tucker's departure.

Most of my news comes from the Wall Street Journal. I particularly enjoy their investigative journalism.

I watch very little of FOX these days. All it does it does is get me agitated.
What's the point?

I haven't watched the Fox News channel (or any "news" for that matter) since before "Dubyuh" left office and I've only clicked on a handful of FoxNews links in these boards to read linked articles. It's certainly not a site I frequent on a daily, weekly, monthly, or even bi-annual basis.

Screw 'em!

"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24

When the adverts outnumber the content, it’s time to move along.

Just set up an email account that you only use for junk stuff. I've had one for years and it works fine for Foxnews.com. No more email requests.

What is really annoying is the video game ads on websites (Fox and others) that break in and take over the whole screen. You have no choice but to watch the whole 5 seconds before you can close it.

Well now, you seem to have missed the point.

At one point up until September of 2020 Fox News was my home page on the computer and my news source on tv.

Since then I’ve refused to watch Fox on tv and I’ve deleted them from my browser. They are the last place I would go for news.

I actually don’t miss it. Let them destroy themselves.

The quality of their talent, content, depth of analysis, and lackadaisical preparation has been going downhill. Sometimes it's pretty much just listening to talking heads. When they brag about how well they're doing in the ratings compared to the other networks, then there's only one way to go, and it feels like they're headed that way. It seems like since Rush left us, the whole conservative media has been sliding.

I maintain a couple of emails for throwaway purposes.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

It doesn't matter if you have fifty email addresses. That is entirely beside the point. You can go right now and get a gmail address that you use only for this one purpose. Again, that is not the point.

I gave up on Fox News channel on election week of 2020. After that, visited the mobile app to read some world or national news because I thought could quickly choose what to read and dismiss the rest. Well, over the last several months I have been more disappointed than ever. Celebrity news, fashion, Swifty gossip, and Hollywood centered shit, Never Trump, all with less real news than ever. A toast! To Lachlan Murdoch losing his family fortune, fame, and especially influence...

This. Last night I was scrolling through their site. Clicked on an interesting headline, and it asked for my email to read the article. Clicked back, selected a different article, and it again asked for my email. I said, "fuck that," and went to OANN's and Newsmax's website instead...

Yeah, it's not difficult to type in an email address, but it's not difficult to let me read your damn article without it either.

While they have always been privately owned, every major "legacy" news source is now "bought."

Fox News now will fade into the uniparty that is actually our federal government.

"Journalism" died in 2016 if not before.

When I want news, for years now I've gone to the AP, BBC, and Al Jazeera. Fox was always biased, but had BAWLS. That's over. There is only pure profit motive left. They are just a red MSNBC.

Arc.

Well, it seems like if they produce the content they can control who reads it. Free market, private property rights, all that good stuff.

At the same time, they can go piss up a rope if they think I’m giving them an email address. If enough people feel that way and take our eyeballs elsewhere then I don’t know how they get any clicks for ad revenue. If they dry up and blow away, that is their prerogative. Good riddance.
