Set it up as RAID 1. Had no idea it took so long to synchronize. 10 more hours.

Just pay the $6 per month and get an i-drive or Carbonite account. Fumbling around with a web hosting area might not be straightforward or secure. Taking a hard drive someplace works, but it's not always going to be up to date.

I was once in a position where all my data existed on a single USB HDD due to my main computer HDD failing. It didn't feel good being down to one copy, but luckily it worked out. So I now have 2 copies at home plus an i-drive account. I want to switch to AWS (Amazon) Glacier, but I just don't know how to do incremental backups on Glacier.
