Karma: For the watch repair folks - Seiko quartz watch (non-running)
I don't remember what model this Seiko is but it's a nice little watch that stopped running and the problem isn't the battery as it tested good - or so the watch battery replacement dude at the local jewelry stored said.

My ability to repair the watch is non-existent and I suspect it would cost more than it's worth to have it repaired by a business. Plus it is too small for my taste so even if I had it fixed it would still sit on the dresser as it has for the years I've had it.

So, the karma is open to the SIGforum subset of members that are watch repair hobbyists (or professionals) with the request that when you get around to inspecting/repairing the watch that you post what was wrong with it and what you did to get it back up and running - and how well you were able to get it to keep time, too. Smile

I'll have The Karminator pick the winner on Wednesday.

Easy to pick the winner on this one Smile

Mars, let me know where you'd like me to send your new-to-you watch and I'll get it out to you tomorrow.

Good for Mars !! Smile

I am just beginning to tinker with watches. Mars, for my own education.....what do you expect that you will do to resurrect this watch??
