His presser did not turn skeptics into believers and he clearly lost his train of thought more than once.
The fix was first shown when he announced who he was supposed to call on for questions.
The Trump as the VP was a problem and it was compounded at the end when he was asked if Kamala polled showing she had a better chance of beating Trump, would he bow out and he replied that he'd only bow out if it was shown she had a better chance of beating Trump.
If you thought Joe was shaky and not all there, this event did nothing to change your mind and if you're a believer in Joe, this event didn't help him erase doubt.
I'm sure the donors are already working the phones telling the DNC there will be no more money until Joe's gone.

It could have been much worse. Of course, when I have such low expectations of him, it didn't take much to exceed these expectations.

My guess is tomorrow or Monday he's forced/bribed out. This presser/campaign speech isn't enough to galvanize the left behind him. If anything tonight will unite and embolden the party's effort to remove him.

I'm hoping this debate ends up as a push. The Dems wanting him out VS the Dems backing him. Hopefully then, he can hang on until the convention.
Then we can all watch the meltdown.

His new advisor Hunter seems to have helped. Joe seemed properly medicated and did about as well as he's capable of doing. Joe's hanging in there. When Hunter gets involved, that means The Big Guy is taking the gloves off.

Biden did perfectly for our side - not horrible enough to force him out, but bad enough that he didn’t reassure anyone. It’s so entertaining to see the puppet turn on his masters.
