Maybe I'm being overly optimistic, but doesn't that kinda sound like Uncah Joe's trying to motivate the true believers of the ideology-driven Dem base itself? If they aren't motivated to get out in numbers and vote, what Dem voter would be?
Remember how they've played the last few elections - if the vote count isn't close, they seem to have a very hard time stealing the election. If their base isn't terribly motivated, there may not be a whole lot of close races regardless of what the Dems can get the pollsters to say.

I guess when Joy Reid thinks the average American has never heard the word inflation a Clyburn history lesson seems credible. These folks are making absolute fools of themselves.
