Just stop right there. That statement is nonsensical. There are countless things beyond our capacity. Only a bullshitter talks like that and gets an unthinking, mentally lazy audience to think that is true.

We have only been a country for 250 years. What crisis did we come out of where we were stronger ? Vietnam War? Major hurricanes? Covid 19? Afghanistan ?

Diversity generally means you didn't pick the best person for the job. To the degree we have had success, we gave opportunity for all of our citizens to become skilled & valued contributors that were able to do particular things better than almost everyone else. And we empowered those skilled individuals to do those particular tasks. Success was rewarded. That was key to so many successes.
