I hate polling of any kind. Yeah, he's an illegitimate fuckup but the only poll that counts is on election day (at least it used to). Such news briefs are simply fillers for the incessant 24 hr news cycle, of which I watch zero these days.

Count me skeptical until we get the names of the drugs and who prescribed them. Adderall and the like increase awareness and focus, but they do nothing to enhance cognition in patients with dementia. If there were such a drug, millions of elderly patients would be comsuming them. Tucker is getting a little out there. If it is true we will know in time.

Someone has managed to place a landmark in the Delaware location, naming it after the infamous ‘Lets go Brandon’ chant, which was initiated after the White House claimed Nascar fans were not chanting ‘F*ck Joe Biden’ when they totally were.

If there was one lesson the Democrats learned from 2020 forward, it was that, if the government convinces voters there's an emergency, the voters will let the government get away with murder. That's why there is a huge push from the left for Biden to declare a "climate emergency" and, under that rubric, end fossil fuels in America on an accelerated timeline. If Biden were to do this — and to get away with doing it — America is over. Kaput. The great experiment will have ended.

The Hill has also reported on Biden's plans. The very first sentence reminds us why I think any such action should be unconstitutional:

In other words, because the People, through their elected representatives, are not buying into the increasingly hollow claim about an imminent climate disaster, Biden is contemplating an authoritarian attack on the American economy.
We've already seen how Biden's initial attacks on our energy industry, through the executive orders he signed on his first days in office, have created a rolling economic disaster. When energy prices skyrocket, all prices skyrocket.
The irony, of course, is that the Democrats, who claim to represent the huddled "people of color" masses yearning to breathe free, are implementing economic policies affordable only by the rich white leftists who really make up the Democrat party. Poor minorities, just like poor white people, cannot afford fuel to get to work or to grocery stores, and, if they make it to the stores, they cannot afford to buy food for their families.

In this first segment, White House senior energy adviser Amos Hochstein, in charge of U.S. energy security, says the administration cannot accept or approve any long-term oil and gas development that undermines the urgency of the crisis they are exploiting.
Instead, Hochstein says U.S. energy producers should invest in oil and gas development that turns an immediate profit. [Pro-tip, that doesn’t exist.] Keeping the oil and gas industry in a perpetual state of shortage, overcapacity and expense, allows the “transition” to windmills and solar to remain urgent. Put another way, the energy crisis is part of the plan.

Mr. Hochstein also appeared on Fox News this afternoon to claim that coal is the worst of the worst and must never be used again. When asked about Germany going back to coal to replace Russian gas, Hochstein says that’s a terrible plan. However, Hochstein was never confronted over the stupid part of his anxiety.
