President Biden’s popularity dropped to its lowest point yet in a CBS News/YouGov poll out Sunday — with just 42% of Americans approving of Biden’s performance while 58 percent disapprove.

Biden’s approval rating is low across the board, including among demographic groups that generally support Democrats, including racial minorities and young people.

People under age 30 gave Biden a resounding thumbs down — with 57 percent saying they disapprove and just 43 percent saying they approve of the president’s performance.

A 54-percent majority of Hispanics and 33 percent of African-Americans said they disapprove of Biden — and 22 percent of people who voted for Biden in 2020 also disapprove.

The results of the early April survey reflect a sour national mood as inflation and illegal immigration hit four-decade highs — with even greater increases expected — as COVID-19-related restrictions drag on and violent crime remains elevated.

About 69 percent of respondents disapproved of Biden’s handling of inflation, which hit an annual rate of 7.9 percent in February. Even among Democrats, 41 percent disapproved of how Biden is addressing inflation.

Ya that's going to put a huge demand on batteries running all that large farm equipment required to plant, cultivate, fertilize and harvest all that corn.

And isn't that particularly stupid given that all that wheat and all that corn grown in Ukraine and Russia are now excised from the world grains market? Not only is this going to make food more expensive in the U.S., it's unnecessary since farmers here are positioned to make some righteous profits over (at least) the next two years.

Which party consistently year after year is willing to hand out checks to this minority for doing absolutely nothing...other than showing up to vote? Not hard at all to define why black voters continue to vote the way they do. Unfortunately, they don't grasp what they're really doing...continuing to assure their demise, and ours.

Fertilizer is becoming very expensive. Very real shortages are happening. Corn isn't going to be cheap, and so the ethanol won't be either. Putting resources into growing corn is going to make other crops even more expensive to grow.

This is another feel-good plan that is only going to make things worse.

Higher percentage of ethanol means less fuel efficiency, increased wear and tear on vehicles, more pollution, and increase in food prices. Brilliant move.
