Put your military near the border and just sit there doing nothing. Let Biden say keep predicting invasions, and keep changing the date:

"Putin will invade on the 16th!....the 18th!.....I mean the 25th!" and so on. After a few weeks of making a fool of the U.S. government, Putin will let it slip as counterintelligence that that he plans to invade on a specific date, and the U.S. will go on high alert, and then.....nothing.
