Looks to me they were being hunted and knew the
shooters were outside. definitely two shooters,
can't believe they were unarmed

how can you be sure they were unarmed ?

They might have been armed. But, without any bullits, the next best thing was to assume the fetal position and be executed.

If they had been home getting a good night's sleep before the next day of school or work, they'd be OK today. That old cliche about nothing good happening after midnight might not be just an old cliche.

These fine young men just need some midnight basketball to keep them out of trouble

Even though the guy in the corner is not moving at the end I suspect he survived and may not have even been hit. I guess he could read and followed the directions on the sign on the door.

2 dead, 2 injured. The old guy was one of the injured ones.

Old guy lived, supposedly worked for or did odd jobs for the gas station. Other three (targets) were together and in their mid 20's.
Old guy to me looked he made a good decision given the pickle he was in, he got down and didn't move. Might have passed out after he got down, who knows, but it worked he survived.
