I tried to login to pay my P4 1040ES, due Jan 16. Way different this time with a choice of new methods. I chose login.gov because it looked to be the simplest. Two-factor required.

First time with the new method was still a bit of a hassle. Thank God for my PW Manager.

Everything with the IRS is a hassle. Being self employed it is even more of a headache.

Thanks for the reminder - my login was the same as before and relatively simple.

I do not use a pw but enter my address/ss info each time I make a payment.

Login.gov is a government wide system, not just the IRS.

Yeah, it's used for a large number of federal websites.
