| A friend of mine owns Sun Perch Villa on False River in Louisiana. It is located right outside Baton Rouge and is well reviewed. My wife and I will be going there later this month for the weekend. They are going to do a big ole crawfish boil while we are there.

If they choose this option, will you have them grab my Toto cassette (Africa) out of David Tullos' 240Z? It's in his new Alpine, can't miss it. Thanks.

That’s what we’re doing. We leave Friday night for Vegas. We had some airfare we had to burn so we booked 4 nights in Vegas with a sightseeing airplane tour to the west rim/skywalk. I’ll rent a car and visit Hoover dam and Red Rock as well. I’m very familiar with Vegas as I’ve been there at least ten times with my last employer which has a large training facility there. I’ve done the full Hoover dam tour twice, and think it will be a great experience for my 11 year old son. |

| I'd stay away from the Grand Canyon this early, nothing like being on a motorcycle in 19 degree and snowing weather...... |

Chip away the stone
| Sounds like a good excuse to watch a lot of Girls Gone Wild videos on the big screen, for the sake of research. |

| Fly into any large Mexican city (The closer it is would be cheaper) then go straight from the airport to the bus terminal, then hop a 2nd class buss without even looking at the destination. 2nd class busses stop anywhere along the road where someone wants on or off. You’ll have your warm climate and a very entertaining educational vacation, but that doesn’t sound like what you are looking for, but it would be for me. quote: Originally posted by Aeteocles: Columbia would be my top choice right now.
Go somewhere like Vietnam, Thailand, Croatia, Colombia, save a few bucks because it's the off season for those places, and really soak in something different.

Ft. Myers beach is nice. Pitchers seafood restaurant is good. Sanibel and captiva have beautiful beaches and are a very short drive and worth seeing them. The Thomas Edison house is also a must see. |
