Pets don't cross the Rainbow Bridge until you do. Deceased pets wait for you there.

I had to put my adopted cat of 15 years down one week ago. I sent her there to wait for me, along with many others that are waiting.

ETA: When your time comes, be sure to bring treats!

Condolences Gary.

Thanks for the link. I had always thought our pets were waiting on the other side of the rainbow bridge.

That’s an interesting theory. If true, I’m gonna get lots of licks since I had lots of dogs.

I've posted this here before. I believe when I die I'll find all five of my dogs laying under a big oak tree in the shade on the other side of the bridge waiting for me. If that is not the case, then I'm not going....

My condolences to you, Gary. Frown

Really like your thought on that. In my mind, I don't believe God would deny us the happiness of being reunited with our pets and critters, no matter what they are.

Godspeed for the kitty GaryBF. It's almost unimaginable to know the depth of loss of a beloved pet, and all us animal lovers have been there, we are with you in mind, heart, and our thoughts.

I read almost daily the sufferings of illness, loss of partners, family and pets, it's heartbreaking. And though I may not post, my prayers are for those needs each and every day. I've been known to email prayer requests to members before but have since quit. I relentlessly pray for individual needs as well as our country, pets and special needs.

Animals are a soft spot, a true blessing from God and his advocate Noah to us all, and so much to be thankful for the times shared with us. I can't wait to be reunited in the afterlife, they are my family too.

Regards, Will G.
