Do No Harm, Do Know Harm |
Kids got out of school yesterday for summer. Got them up and fed, then had to get a haircut this morning, them in tow, then came home to pack for the beach. 3 loads of laundry, 1 brunch of eggs rancheros, bacon, and pancakes, 1 load of dishes, 5 bags packed, and whatever else I've been doing (as the wife is at work) later.... "Daddy's taking a break". "But daddy, why do you need a break"?.... Next it's a trip to the dentist for two cleanings and the 9yo to get 2 cavities filled. Then, To the beach! But only til Sunday. Dangit. Summer break is upon us! Trying to turn these unappreciative little snots into productive members of society Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here. Although sometimes distracting, there is often a certain entertainment value to this easy standard. -JALLEN "All I need is a WAR ON DRUGS reference and I got myself a police thread BINGO." -jljones

That sounds like a money making opportunity!! I'm sure that if I'd pay to see this, then others would, also!!! _______________________________________ Flammable, Inflammable, or Nonflammable....... Hell, either it Flams or it doesn't!! (George Carlin)

I know the feeling brother! My kids' break starts next Friday. So I'm enjoying these last few days of freedom LOL. Actually, looking forward to hanging with my boys and enjoying a much needed break.

My first year of teaching high school I was all about the summer off... until I realized that I would have to go back to work to get a break. Now I work the most of the summer building stuff and producing civil/structural drawings. I do take most of July off to spend with the kids. A penny saved is a government oversight.
