I need to replace some side window deflectors for my F150. Are the ones avail at auto parts stores good ones, or are there better quality brands on-line ? In other words are they all the same in terms of quality. I'm looking for trim and sharp, external tape mounting specifically. I've used the internal window channel mounting before, but prefer the external double sided tape mounting system.

So are the models aval at the local auto parts stores the cats meow, or should I shop elsewhere ? Are they all basically the same in terms of quality ?

For stick on I suggest AVS. I have them on my 2000 Silverado. They were put on the truck when the truck was nearly new.
They are a little cloudy but still stuck on there good and no cracks.

However I prefer in channel deflectors now that they make them.
WeatherTech rules for these.

I’m glad someone asked this …my question, and something that I’ve always wondered is, exactly what do these deflectors actually do?

Allows the windows to be cracked without water getting in. Helps airflow and knocks the interior temp down a few degrees when sitting in the heat not running.
Very beneficial in hot climates and vehicles that aren’t driven daily allowing air flow in the cabin so you don’t meet a musty cab.
