roarindanJeopardy taxes
The current champion has won about a quarter million dollars (U S). As he hails from Canada, how much will he loose having to pay U.S. taxes and Canadian taxes.

AnushTax treaties eliminate most duplications. His cost will be for a tax specialist in US & Canadian taxes.

trapper189He shouldn’t be double taxed.
The net effect should be he’ll pay which ever country has the highest rate. He’ll definitely pay the US rate to the US and if Canada’s rate is higher, he’ll pay the difference between the US rate and the Canadian rate to Canada.

Can't
stand that guy.
I think he may be the first Jeopardy champion ever I keep hoping to see beat so he goes away.

No one referenced him being in "Double Jeopardy", I'm proud of you.

Yeah, what’s with the wiggling. I haven’t watched for a long time and when I do (Tuesday, I think) the champ was saying and it must have been contagious because the other two started doing it, too.

The new champ had a hard time focusing.
