^^^^ I'd only replace the offending sensor. On high mileage vehicles I own (over 150K) I like to replace all of the sensors as they do pick up deposits and can get 'lazy'. With no codes I'll do them in pairs, upstream and downstream, especially if they aren't cheap. Good PM to keep it running smooth. My two favorite brands are also NTK and Denso. I have had no problems out of either and the form/fit/function has been spot on. NTK is OEM for my Suzuki and the Denso was OEM for my '03 Jeep.

Just a suggestion, but after you swap out the 02 sensor, you might give the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor a nice cleaning. I use the CRC product, with perfect, no BS results. It's a nice preventive maint routine, and dead simple and fast to do. A bit expensive on Amazon, but if you are not familiar with the product, you can see what it looks like. https://www.amazon.com/CRC-051...leaner/dp/B000J19XSA Good luck with your repair. ______________________________ Nitro smoke rewards a long days toil...

Not that the OP needs another “+1” for Rock Auto being GTG, but since the thread is at the top of the page... -Rob I predict that there will be many suggestions and statements about the law made here, and some of them will be spectacularly wrong. - jhe888 A=A

As others have stated one needs to be sure what they are looking for. They categorize by grade. Never pay attention the economy section you want nothing from there. If you plug your vehicles into the site they will s is you emails when they have big close outs. I’ll buy things that I don’t particularly need but know I will. I got a motorcraft set of plug wires and full new motorcraft distributor for an 88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe (which factory stuff if pretty much hens teeth) for like $35. I order lots from them. I have only had one issue. Ford changed a sensor midmodel year it was a $15 sensor from them $46 from the dealer. At $15 and my error I did not even bother trying to return it. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. ALSO, (yes, I hollered), if you go to automotive forums, you may find 5% off coupons like HERE About the only time I din't buy from Rockauto is if I need a part quicker or it's dealer only.

Most of the time I find the part number on Rock Auto and use it to find the part on Amazon.

This. Currently working on rebuilding a project car, so been ordering a lot of parts from numerous different vendors. Rockauto is great for ordering a bunch of parts at one time, as long as you make sure they all come from the same warehouse to save on shipping charges. If it's just one or two parts I'm ordering, Amazon is usually close enough (or better) when you factor in RockAuto shipping charges.

I don't have to pay 11% sales tax to rockauto, probably not an issue for most of you with amazon.

I had an O2 sensor code come up on my F150. I took the old one out to see what it looked like so I could order a new one. While it was out, I cleaned it with carburetor cleaner and CRC electrical parts cleaner. That was a few months ago and I haven’t had the code return.

I like Rockauto. Used them a few times over the past 10 years. As others have said, just be sure of what you are ordering. They have everything from economy to oem grade.

Got everything but the special socket for it that is expected next week. Might try to do it with a regular wrench.

22mm? (7/8). If you have clearance a regular wrench will work.

You can use a 22mm or 7/8" box end if you have the clearance. The connector is unlikely to go through it, but you're replacing the sensor anyway, so just cut it off. Obviously you can't do this when you install the new one.
