I always bought property based on future resale in mind. Power lines overhead won’t do much for resale. Most wouldn’t want to live near them so she is limiting her future market.

My only concern would be resale value . As far as the effects of high voltage are concerned , I have spent 40 years in the electric utility business . 39 of them were in the construction and maintenance of high voltage substations . There is a lot of hysteria but no real irrefutable evidence of the effects of living near a powerline .
