UTsigAnyone use Etsy?
I've bought from Etsy, never been disappointed. My most recent was last month, handmade item, shipped fast, was exactly as described.

PASigEtsy does seem to have a lot of handcrafted stuff you don’t see elsewhere, I’ve purchased from them several times.
My wedding groomsmen gifts included a hand forged bottle opener with our names and wedding date. They are really cool.

StarTravelerI’ve made several successful purchases of craft items from around the world and a set of inexpensive but really nice plans for a woodworking project that I saw on YT (I’ve modified this to suit the needs for my project that’s currently underway).
I check the item reviews and check shop reviews before becoming too interested in a particular product, and I avoid any sellers that don’t have excellent feedback even if the product looks right. Exercise due diligence and you should be fine.

Are there sellers on there that can do custom t-shirts?
Lots of T-shirt sellers, have bought several pre printed ones, I am sure there are custom ones.
As a side note, member
downtownv's daughter does custom T-shirts as well.

x0225095Many times. Most recently bought some vintage canvas hunting vests with game pouches that they just don’t make anymore because everything now and days is made in freaking China and is shit.
But, yes, ETSY, is just an easy to use online marketplace. Scams and scammers are everywhere but it’s a good platform.

comet24Used it a few times with no issues. Most of the stuff is US-based sellers but there is stuff on there from China so just check where it's coming from if that matters.

sig2392I have bought from it several times, and never been ripped off.
I did have one necklace not arrive from the UK and my money was quickly refunded.
It is mostly handmade stuff from all over the world. Lots of US merchants too.

ElToroI’ve bought some custom leather sheaths for a few fixed blade buck knives. Lots of small artisan hobby craftspeople selling. And at most prices they must be working for dang near minimum wage.
Also picked up a hand carved emu egg for my mom after my son broke hers when he was about 4. Lady in Croatia or somewhere shipped to me fast. Then followed up with an email to make sure it arrived unbroken.
Buy the seller.

ArtieSYes. Very good luck, even ordering from Japan.

CoolRich59I've bought some great stuff from vendors on Etsy.
I'm particularly reminded of the keychain I got. I was looking for a keychain with a brass clip to attach to my belt loop with a leather strap running down to the metal loop for my keys.
All the keychains I'd tried were too short and my keys would get pulled out of my pocket. I emailed the shop owner on Etsy and she offered to customize her keychain with a longer leather strap for me, which she did for no additional charge.
This was back in 2015. I've been using this keychain for almost 10 years now and it still looks great.
Here is the original design.
The leather strap on my keychain is 2 or 3 inches longer.
