Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

Anybody with hearing aids ever wear headphones over them?
I have a pair of Bluetooth headphones to wear while mowing so I can listen to music.
Leave aids in or take out?

most hearing aides I have worn can have the headphones worn over them if the headphones are the over the ear type and not ear buds.

I can wear an older set of Bose headphones over my hearing aids with no problem.

But I started years ago wearing earplugs or muffs when mowing. Don't want to loose any more hearing capability.

I have some that I wear over the hearing aids. They took away our actual phones at work and replaced the handsets with a headset. I wear it on the rare occasion I use the phone.

My hearing aids can BlueTooth pair with audio devices, but I always take them out when I mow - no sense amplifying the sound of the engine.

Because good aids amplify different range frequencies, I think you will find that the over the ear headphones will give better sounding music.

That is my experience.

doesn't listening to music have to be turned up loud to dull the mower?? isn't that the same as blasting music into your ear??
