These two are probably the most unique (esoteric?} aircraft that I have in my collection of built models, let's see how many guess them. Considering recent tries I'm thinking the general knowledge of SF members will be demonstrated once again. Mojojojo, orbiting overhead, acquires the objective. Don't know the German one, but I think the foreground plane is the Westland Wyvern. Don't remember which version, though.

Junkers JU-87 (stuka dive bomber).
Supermarine Type 391 ( super Seafang) a follow on to the spitfire for naval use.

The German plane looks like a Heinkel 100 to me and I agree with the Westland Wyvern ID.

Right on both counts about the Heinkel and Wyvern. Now, can anyone impart a little history trivia about the Heinkel?

I don't find any info pointing to that, could be wrong. I believe the first military aircraft to be equipped with ejection seats was the Saab J-21.
The trivia I was looking for is that thre were only 19 total He-100s built, they were used in propaganda films, to the point that different "Unit" insignias were applied and serial numbers changed to make it appear as though there were many more of them, there were even RAF pilots claiming He 100 kills during the Battle of Britain. They eventually were assigned to defend the Heinkel factory, flown by factory test pilots. Allied bombers hadn't made it that deep into Germany during that period so, apparently, they never fired a shot in anger.

The He 219 night fighter design was the first German frontline combat aircraft to have retracting tricycle gear, and the first operational military aircraft anywhere to use ejection seats.
