Yesterday, around noon. Cancer.

She was 96. She left behind two daughters -- my wife and my wife's sister, and another daughter by second marriage, my wife's half sister.

I hope that she is at peace, and I have sent prayers for those she left behind.

Condolences, V-Tail. 96 is a pretty good run. RIP.

I'm sorry for your loss. 96 is a solid age though. I hope to live that long!

Situation awareness is defined as a continuous extraction of environmental information, integration of this information with previous knowledge to form a coherent mental picture in directing further perception and anticipating future events. Simply put, situational awareness mean knowing what is going on around you.

My deepest sympathy. My mom only lived to 88, but I thought that was a full life--96 is extraordinary, even these days. My prayers for the family. (I'll be 81 in December.)
