Back, and to the left |
Since so many younger people seem to be claiming to be interested in Communism or socialism these days, it helps to be armed with real, verifiable information to counter their dumb-ass assertions when encountered. As such, I wanted to learn more about what kind of background he had, what path he took. What kind of person Karl Marx was. Karl Marx was one weird cat. It's only fair I warn you, this video is about an hour long. I have this link to start pretty much where the author begins. There is also a Q&A session that begins just before the 50 min mark. I personally thought it gets really interesting just before around 27 min in. If you have a little over 45 minutes, it's definitely pretty enlightening. This dude was a piece of shit by anyone's standards at any time in history, It's still easy to believe that kids who don't know shit from Shinola are still lured by this crap. Like the author says, most of them didn't read a thing. If you are interested, skipping around will probably just be frustrating. Just save the link for when you have time. I needed to eat a sandwich and chill. 45 minutes worked for me there. Link I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. -Ecclesiastes 9:11 ...But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by Him shall glory, but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped. - Psalm 63:11 [excerpted]

Dr. Paul Kengor is interesting. I've read his book on Reagan. "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

I had a client who praised Marx. He told me Marx wasn’t bad at all. I responded saying, “Well you don’t know Marx then” He stopped being a client shortly after. And that’s really the point. As the author says, only the ignorant and oppressive like Marxism. You’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier

I’d add lazy, shiftless young folks believing all will be shared, not cost them anything but the ‘freedom’ they so want. F the lefties. Get out of your fantasy land, get your backside to work!

Would love to debate a liberal about this, but first, they don't like to debate, second, they may not be very honest about it.

I saw a reddit thread that was basically asking everyone what they would offer the group under communism. The answers were hilarious. It was like: 1. I would do tarrot cards for people. 2. I'm a good listener, so I would listen to people's problems. 3. I'm good at sending good vibes and puppy pictures. All of the jobs were soft and dealt with mental illness. Nobody volunteered to plant the crops or do anything meaningful. Beagle lives matter. ______ (\ / @\_____ / ( ) /O / ( )______/ ///_____/
