dave7378MLB would you rather have a ring or a plaque?
I would take the ring. When I was a kid playing baseball I use to dream of what it would be like to someday play in a WS. Never really thought about what it would be like to go into the hall.

Yeah, you can't wear a plaque.

400mI went to a St. Louis/Cubs game this summer. Also saw the Cardinals HOF. The hall had the Jostens sample World Series rings available to try on. The sample is the ring they send to the organization for final approval. I’ve got some pics with the wife wearing it. It definitely stands out. I don’t have a pic hosting site to post it. I can email it to someone if they want to post it here.
It has the rally squirrel on the ring.

Perhaps you could get a good deal on some of these Confederate statues. I hear Robert E.Lee is in storage. Just modify the hat with a baseball cap and move it to tiny town,

They were just sitting at the bar minding their own business, but the ring speaks across the room for them. I had to admit it was pretty cool.
I would rather be at the bar with a couple of former Dallas Cowboy cheer leaders then players.
