Moen for the shower, faucets.

Hansgrohe for the kitchen, go for a better line higher quality piece for the kitchen, it's the most used faucet in the home, and you want something that can hang with the demands.

Not my experience at at all. After 6-7 years, our hall bathroom fixture showed signs of the finish discoloring. Called Kohler and with zero resistance they offered a full no charge replacement. No pictures, no returned product. That particular model was out of production so they said just shop our current offerings and pick the one you want. No restrictions on price. I don't remember the cost of the original, but the replacement we selected was surely at least twice the price. Still, I had to enlist my SIL to assist with the installation, so I guess I should bitch because they didn't send a plumber out.

My son builds houses . His last client wanted to supply the plumbing fixtures because his wife picked out something she liked . It was some off brand junk that she saw on the Internet . A couple of the tub fixtures had issues right out of the box and of course parts were not available locally .They were able to get them working in time for the move in but no doubt he'll get a call back before long .
Buy quality , buy from a stocking dealer with parts availability .

I bought this Delta one from HD about 7 years ago and it's AWFUL. Avoid at all costs:

I already need to replace it. Won't properly turn off.
