Is the image hosted somewhere? It needs to be addressable as a URL.

You need a URL in the image quotes; yours was just a jumble of numbers. So, this would look like https://i.postimg.cc/xjpBC9Lz/Ball.jpg BEFORE you put it in the image quote box. So, before you hit "Post Now," it would look like this: [IMG]https://i.postimg.cc/xjpBC9Lz/Ball.jpg[\IMG] Note, I replaced the back slash (/) character with a forward slash (\) character to demonstrate what it would look like as you type it out - that ending bracket SHOULD look like [/IMG]. If I didn't change this / character, it just would've shown my pic, like here: ![]() Here's a quick tip - find a post with an attached photo like mine, and hit the 'quote' button. It will show the text of my embedded pic. Fear God and Dread Nought Admiral of the Fleet Sir Jacky Fisher

Post the link (without the img tags) or email it to me and I will give you a link you can use to post an image. A usable link will begin with http://webaddress.com or you can just post link to webaddress.com/blahblablah - from that I can get a link for you to use to link directly to the photo. “Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.” - John Adams

Is this it? ![]() ![]() Flickr does not permit posting just the image to message boards/fora--it provides a "Share" function (the little curved white arrow beneath the photo lower right corner). Clicking on that arrow initiates a short dialog that results in a link that can be directly posted to a board/forum. The above are just 2 of the many photos on Flickr found by searching for "Leonidas Sparta". flashguy Texan by choice, not accident of birth
