NavyGuy passed away
I was on another forum and learned that NavyGuy (Larry Grohman) passed away in Dec 2023. I just checked his posting history and his last post was in October.

Searched and did not see any thread related to his death. A fellow Texan, sorry to lose him, may he Rest in Peace.

Fair winds and following seas.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

I never had the honor of meeting him but always followed his postings. For some reason I thought he was younger.

He will be missed.

Oh no, really sad to hear this. I always enjoyed his thoughts on the Forum.

I didn't realize he lived so close---I'm less than a half-hour from where he lived.

Condolences to his wife and family---prayers sent.
