He only spoke to me once about the war. I recently learned he told my oldest brother and uncle
about what he exprerianced. Saved some lives and took some lives. He was a stoic man, never affectionit
I guess I can understand why. Passed away a couple years ago at the age of 100 I miss him.

Thanks for posting this. Your dad was for sure a great representative of that Greatest Generation.
