I don't buy that. This is an organic thing. They're either born with it or they're not. It isn't learned.

But they are dangerous. They serve as examples of derangement that could negatively impact young children to emulate them. I believe it's happening even now.

The negative opinions here toward trans are very evident. And in my opinion very wrong.
Expecting a person, male or female, to conform to their biological gender when their head wiring (don't know what else to call it) from birth on, is the opposite, is wrong, and really none of your damn business.
I know such a person.

I can imagine all kinds of people who are examples of derangement, so to speak, who could negatively impact young children to emulate them, without breaking any laws. Should they all be locked away potentially for life?

So you're ok with prepubescent children being enabled, encouraged, adopted/groomed and brainwashed by lgbtxyz minions? And let's not forget to throw in some handy dandy dsm5 voodoo for good measure.

And as long as that mentally ill individual wants to live their life without expecting society to buy into their delusions and/or afford them any special treatment or recognition, so be it. But that is most assuredly not the case today. The Left wants to normalize this nonsense which is utterly absurd and completely asinine. Men are men, women are women, and if you have the hardware of one and the software of another, you're mentally ill, not 'special'. Enough said.

So if such a person, with said head wiring, wants to go into the girls restroom one hour, then the boys restroom the next hour, undress/dress/shower in the girls locker room at school or at the club one day, and undress/dress/shower in the boys locker room/club the next day (both times watching all the undressed students around him/her), you think that is acceptable? And if you don't let such a person go in the restroom right behind your five year old daughter or grand daughter, you are guilty of a crime.

In the Bay Area, gender is becoming a matter of choice, and you can make different choices as often as you wish. During the CA Prop 8, to define marrage as between opposite genders, the LGBT community openly admitted, "this is not about rights, we already have rights, this is about using gov't to punish anyone from publicly expressing disapproval".

I get where the concern comes from, but how is it really different from a gay guy in a men's room or gay woman in a women's room?

Is someone who is sexually attracted to the gender of the bathroom they are using less disturbing to you if they have the same type of genitalia as the other users of that bathroom?

You don't see a difference between a gay high schooler who goes into the mens shower, and a not gay highschooler who says he is transgender and demands his right to daily stroll around the girls locker room? (I have lived in the Bay Area for 35 years).

I have posted before, my son's good friend in high school, an attactive young lady, was continually harassed/bullied by the lesbian club members. She complained repeatedly but no action was taken. She finally, when surrounded by the lesbians, grabed the rainbow bandana from the leader, threw it on the ground and stomped on it, told them to leave her alone. My son's friend was suspended for the equiv of "hate speech". Around here such is the norm, not the exception. Those claiming same sex attracion or being gender fluid have a lot of "rights" not provided to the traditional population.

The brainwashing etc. you speak of is wrong. The militancy of most any group is wrong. I speak of a child, troubled within self from very early age. No influence from outside at all. 30 years later finally found comfort in accepting self as the head is wired. And all is good. I know a thing or two because I have seen a thing or two.

You are exactly right: It is none of my damn business. Unfortunately the transgender community is trying to cram this fallacy of normalcy down my throat which now makes it my business. I can look away and ignore some dude in heels and a dress walking around in public and at work. I can even professionally interact with said person at work when required (and I have, much to my discomfort). But stop trying to reeducate me into believing this is normal behavior. Allow me to have my personal opinions in silence and have a choice of whom I associate or not associate with outside a work environment. And do so without calling me the latest slur being used by the transgender community to describe people like me.

We insist on treating anorexia, bulimia, body dismorphic disorder, and people who think they are Henry VIII. Gender dismorphia is the only one its acceptable to "treat" by going along with the delusion. Some specialists even admit that they don't even consider not transitioning to be a option. Is there medical soundness to this, or is it ideological and political?

Is there something you need to tell us? Eek

A man is a man and a woman is a woman (substitute terms: male and female if you like).

If the "wiring" is bad aka crazy then get that fixed.

Society does not need to conform to the delusional > the other way around.

If it doesn't affect me then you are right it is none of my business.

Hell, even that kid in Kindergarten Cop knew that boys have a penis and girls have a vagina. Got a penis? You're a boy! Got a vagina? You're a girl! Got both? Well, that's unusual (I hope).

If you are physiologically a male, you can call yourself a woman every second of every day of your life if you so choose. You can declare this to every person you meet. You can dress in the prettiest dresses, wear the finest makeup, expertly applied. You can conduct yourself as a woman by your manner of speech and your gestures. You can even have your name changed legally to the ultimate-sounding female name, but guess what? You were born with a dick? Then, you're still male, and all the make-believe and all the makeup in the world won't EVER change that.

People who feel they are the opposite sex are mentally ill. I know that's just a horrible opinion to hold, isn't it? From what I can see, it's the truth, and you just need to check the suicide rates of "transgenders" and especially the rate of suicide for those who go through the sham of a "sex change operation". These people are terminally unhappy, and it's due to their mental illness. It's as simple as that.
They have these ridiculous operations, thinking that the world will now align for them, but they're still miserable. Their solution was no solution at all. And they then kill themselves at an alarmingly high rate.

It's not hard to figure out, if you're being honest about it.

Where is the line between "feelings" and "actions", or is there a line? I had a friend and former boss tell me that pedophilia is a natural, in-born, trait, and it is wrong for society to make related actions immoral and/or illegal conduct.

Transgenderism is a mental disorder, and the Left insists there's something wrong with ME for thinking that. I can think of no better example than this:

As with all Leftist agendas, when you give 'em an inch, they take a mile. Here's where we've gotten with this insanity of calling mental disorders "normal."

I think in CA there are laws on the books, and some laws in the works, along the lines that it is illegal to provide mental health counseling to those with gender identity issues.

And I didn't click on the second video but saw a report, I think that pink hair person is saying you should ask the baby for permission to change the dirty diaper?

A quote comes to mind about changing values in society, something like "first we abhor, then we endure, then we embrace".

What I'd like to know is what 'straight guy' - that is a heterosexual guy would date/marry another guy who has been artificially made to sorta/kinda look like a female?

Who do the tranny's think is interested in them as a mate..?

A homosexual is all I can think of or perhaps, maybe a lesbian, but a straight guy? I more than rather doubt it. If they are interested they're NOT straight.

With (I would think) very rare exception would a straight guy want anything to do with a pseudo-female and vice versa.

You know these pseudo-female have to be voice trained to even remotely sound female.

Imagine, someone quirky enough as a straight guy to wake up in bed next to a pseudo-female who forgets his voice training and sounds like Barry White for his first few sentences (his real baritone voice) and then quickly reverts to upping voice to fake spekaing somewhat like a real woman.

Talk about a horror show!
