He wants to bleed and die for his "rights". Perhaps he'll get the chance, though, somehow, this feels like nothing more than hot air, and of course his staff is claiming that he was speaking metaphorically.

I, on the other hand, was being quite literal.

Ojeda is an idiot. He used to be in WV politics, down in Logan county, playing the "I'm a veteran!!!" card pretty heavy handedly. He was a Major in a Guard artillery engineer unit.

We (the WVARNG) had a program called Ridgerunner which was sort of like a big Robin Sage for SF teams. One particularly hilarious iteration had our guest team in southern WV, and they were doing an HVT snatch utilizing a defunct school building in the middle of a sleepy little town called Chapmanville. LEOs knew what was going on. 911 call center knew what was going on. Town and county officials knew what was going on.

But for whatever reason, no one told the people in the town. So social media lit up when smoke/flash bangs and belt-fed MGs started going off around the school. They quickly got the word out it was an exercise but some people (primarily Ojeda) started going on about how this was just Obama trying to desensitize the population to military in our streets, how lucky we were he and his boys (he had ties to some militia group down in Logan) got the word it was an exercise or they would have started stacking bodies.

Just checked out his wiki page. Was for Trump, then for Bernie. To quote Freddie..."any way the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me."

There are, I think many of those lunatics out there. They have been indoctrinated by media and academia and emboldened by the summer of love in 2020. They are stupid enough to get froggy if the moment is right and completely lacking in wisdom to fathom the consequences of their actions. These are the modern day version of the assholes that gleefully “dispossessed” the Ukrainian Kulaks of their grain, property and lives.

If the 47 administration does not move hard against the financiers of this cancer it will be an epic mistake.

During my life I have owned and operated several businesses.

I recall, in the 70s, looking at the parking lot for my business. Every employee had a vehicle - most under three years old, a few, older. It struck me that my entrepreneurial efforts had provided the jobs that paid for those vehicles, my portion of the SS contribution provided them an income on retirement and my contribution to their 401K helped as well.

I don't rank anywhere near the billionaire status, but imagine the number of employees that the businesses they own have the same thing my few employees had! They do not keep their money in mattresses, rather invested in the economy of the Nation, providing the jobs for literally millions of people. Their businesses pay city, county, state and federal taxes.

I have been criticized for practicing "trickle down" economics by my Left-leaning acquaintances, to which I say "Absolutely"! I work my ass off, take risks and make payroll every two weeks!

Public sector employees simply do not have the incentive (losing your ass) that business owners suffer.

It is easy to say the minimum wage should be $25.00 per hour - unless you have to figure out how much increased revenue is required to pay that salary.

Rant off...
