Carson and Leno had class something the late night shows haven't had for years, and SNL just sucks period anymore. My dog farts funnier than that bunch.

They are no longer comedy shows. The audience doesn't even expect funny. What they want is hate, and the hosts try to outdo one another in vileness.

Sorry if I'm repeating myself, but I am amazed by the speed of the descent: just a few years ago it would have been unimaginable that a nationally televised host would call the President of the United States a "co*kholster," his daughter a "c*nt." (I'm trying to avoid trigger words.)

If they continue to be permitted to engage in this slime, we have not hit bottom yet.

I just caught a rerun of Late Night With Johnny Carson on one or another of the multitude of broadcast TV sub-channels yesterday, whilst evaluating an HDHomeRun network tuner. Left it on the for a while because I was enjoying it so much.

The current crop? As soon as their theme songs hit my ear, off it goes. They suck.

Didn't like Leno as much as I did Carson, but even he was way better than the current jokers.

Me too. "Jay Walking" skit was my favorite. Poking fun at young clueless college grads who thought Korea was the capitol of North Dakota.
