Which one did they get for you? I think I'd like to get one, too!

Synth,

I looked at a lot of different ones on Amazon, read reviews...

I bought an Ororo vest for my wife, and she loves it! Three settings and she says the battery life is good!

Hyper Tough LED portable 1000 lumen work light. I have several and gave three as Christmas presents. An UpLULA magazine loader-finger saver comes in as a strong second.

Thermapen. Worth every penny and makes cooking and grilling so much easier.

Brightech LightView PRO - LED Magnifying Glass Desk Lamp.

I liked it so much, I bought 3 more for the house and shop.

LOL..... I can see that.

I pull out my Chainsaws a few times a year and my back, arms and legs know what's coming.

Make sure it's not angled toward the sunlight. I can show you the burn lines in my window sill.

When my truck was originally designed, there was a storage tray that went behind the drivers seat. The tray was only an option for the first three months of production. The mount for the tray was part of the truck and present throughout the entire 8 year production run. I found one of these trays a few months ago.

The other thing is a wireless charger coil kit. I've managed to mount one behind a picture frame, the console, and an armrest.
Now I don't have to think about charging anything because it charges when I put it where it went anyway.

Another vote for an air fryer. My kid sister and a friend "talked me into" getting one. Mine's Cosari and I should have popped much sooner. Great kitchen addition.

KNIPEX Electrical Installation Pliers (1000 volt rated Red/Yellow - pairs well with that Dewalt Oscillating tool)

I was poor and made due for so many years. Never knew what I missed. The pliers are tough but thin enough to use on all kinds of needle nose plier chores, and putting in the wiring at our 2nd home so that my brother can plug his EV in was dreamlike and otherworldly nice.

Another vote for an air fryer. Picked up the Insignia 10 quart air fryer for $50 (normally $130). Love it!

It's more like a toaster oven with a circulating fan. I've read complaints on another forum regarding uneven cooking/baking which I simply resolved but rotating racks halfway through cooking. Even America's Test Kitchen rotates pans for even baking.

Another vote for heated steering wheel. When I ordered my current fleet vehicle (2020 Chevy Traverse), I saw it had a heated steering wheel. I thought, who needs that? Well let me tell you, I do. Holy cow I couldn't believe how nice this feature is....

A dropper seat post for my mountain bike. I am now in the process of converting all my bikes over to dropper seat posts.

Here was my solution. A 24"x30" piece of plywood, some small screw eyes, and a little copper wire.

Thanks for the heads-up. Definitely a risk. Eek

Fortunately, mine are away from windows.

Not recent, but I don’t know how we ever made it before 4door pickups and front end loaders on tractors.

My Instant Pot is fairly recent.
And my Induction cook top is SUPER nice. Almost like cooking on gas.

Rice cooker. Cooks rice and keeps it warm. I eat it up to two days later and it's just sitting there hot and ready for me.
