As of right now it's not looking too good. Jeff Flake (McCain light) is not running for re-election so his senate seat is open this midterm. Right now the leaders on the republican side are a crazy religious right doc from Kingman and Joe Arpaio. The seat will probably go den to Kirsten Cinema simply because the republicans in this state can't get their shit together and support a worthwhile candidate.

Wife and I are thinking of relocating to the Prescott area in the next year or so. I will definitely be keeping an eye on this.

I wonder which politicians in the Exec, Legislative, and Judicial branches, State and Fed, still believe in following the Constitution? Even for those who do when first elected, how many get polluted with time?

I once met a fellow who served in a cabinet position. He related a conversation between two senators, an old-timer and a freshman. The Sr asked the newbie, "what do you think of XXX's view. The newbe "you know he is right". The old-timer "you need to learn, politics is not about right and wrong, politics is about power". Roll Eyes

What's the difference between this and inherited oligarcahal rule? Seems we are racing to a revolution with this kind of corruption. Term limits seem to be the only answer. Two terms and you're out. No pension. No perks.

Defeat Ducey for appointing her. He needs a primary challenger who will bust his balls to no end for even thinking about appointing Cindy McCain.

GOP doing what Dems did in MO appointing Jean Carnahan for her dead husband. Why can’t they just get someone really qualified who has done more than run a dinner party.

Is this the same Cindy McCain that sat on the View and blathered on about President Trump and nepotism and how it has no place in the interest of the country?

That, Cindy McCain?

Supposedly, years ago he was going to die from some cancerous disease that mysteriously went away.

The only thing I like about his family is the rather tubbby, but, smart hot daughter.

Sidenote. I have commented before, a city council in Silicon Valley voted for themselves that after one term of part-time service on the council, the city will pay their health insurance premiums for the rest of their lives. Not a bad perk.

I feel like we should apologize to what we have inflicted on the rest of the country.

And if the above isn't bad enough......we have Tucson.
