We're getting a new one here in RW as well, but not nearly as expensive - only $63mil.

Hadn’t heard of this.
Had to travel the I-74 bridge daily for a while when I was living in Bettendorf and working in Milan. Wasn’t fun.

Arsenal bridge was always busy, I-80 bridge was too far out, and Centennial bridge was a toll bridge at the time and I was cheap.

Locally we have the I-10 bridge crossing the Mississippi river in Baton Rouge, La . For years there has been talk for a new bridge but nobody wants it in their backyard. And if it come to be it will not be cheap. Latest word is studies but even with the green light probably be a minimum of 10plus or more years it would be completed. There are 3 other bridge crossings within 35 miles. .............. drill sgt.
