As easy as it is to change phone companies these days, why even worry about it. Sit back and if it turns to shit, it takes less than 30 mins to go to a different carry and switch.

^^^^^^^^ Re: “it takes less than 30 mins to go to a different carry and switch.” That wasn’t my experience. Now that T-Mobile has bought out Sprint I figured that that a change from Sprint to T-Mobile would be forced sooner or later, so might as well do it now. The process took much longer than 30 minutes. Three days ago I went to the T-Mobile store to do it, but they told me that I first had to call Sprint CS to get my phone unlocked so they could replace its SIM card. Two days ago I called Sprint CS to get that done. About 45 minutes on the phone for that. Yesterday, back to the T-Mobile store to get it done. An hour and a half there, but finally success. With so many Sprint customers (presumably) changing to T-Mobile, I figured that T-Mobile would’ve developed a fast and efficient process. Wrong. So many man hours wasted. On the plus side: * My new T-Mobile account costs significantly less than my former Sprint account. Both have unlimited calling and iPhone data. The T-Mobile iPhone Hotspot feature has 20 GB/month, throttling after 3 GB, vs. 50 GB/month with no throttling for Sprint, but I’ve never used as much as 3 GB/month. Both carriers have good coverage in my area. * The T-Mobile store is adjacent to Shake Shack. Always glad for an excuse for lunch there. I love those small Shack Burgers! Delicious, and not too calorific. I bring a 1.5 oz bag of Dot’s pretzels to eat with the burger instead of french fries. Thanks to SigForum for alerting me to Dot’s. Serious about crackers
