Darn it!! I had a very long and detailed post done and went back to edit a word and was rushed to post as nurse was here and hit delete so here goes again.

Picc line was put in early yesterday for the starting of TPN fluids which started at 8:30 last night.

Blood sugar testing was started early yester day with the first being a good 85 then six hrs later a close to low 72 after a small OJuice it came up to 93 then six hrs later an ok 79 before the tpn fluids start. Nurse just tested my bs and its a great 109 after the mag and potasium iv and then the starting of the tpn iv fluids so this is a very positive start to the day.

I have good wife support but her senior HR work load and all my issues are very taxing on her but she is very strong in her lutheran faith in God so we both will let him do the driving.

Hospital staff here has been top notch here in the Palliative wing and while my projected goals and plans are not Pallative there are many here that are and are at and facing end of life health issues of all kinds.

My surgery goals are on track and very posive for now are still atleast 5-6 days out while the mass in the pancrious continue to thicken and grow for the surgery goals of the draining tube stint to the stomach.

Thanks all for the conforting post thought and prayers.

As always thanks for over looking my poor spelling sentance structure its very hrad anyway but next to impossible on my iphone six. Take care all for now.

Hang tough, dude.

I received your photo(s) of Dixie this morning. I'll post shortly.

You did not state whether you wanted them in this thread, or the Gallery, or the dog thread in the rant section.

Your email seemed to indicate that you were sending me two photos. I received two separate copies of the same one.

Here's Dixie!

When I was incarcerated in the live-in rehab center after my hip / thigh surgery, my wife sent photos of my Pippi girl rescue Corgi. That was an inspiration to me, kept me working really hard at my physical therapy, as I really wanted to get home to see her.

Prayers for healing and strength. I know how hard it can be to be in the hospital and away from the unconditional love of you furry friends. Wish someone could sneak Dixie in your room for ya!

Here's the second picture that Mike sent to me to post. Now I'm confused, I had thought that Dixie was the Bloodhound.

Anyway, here's the photo:

Thanks v-tail. Yes Dixie the biggist dog on the right in both pictures. Shes playing with my oldest daughters dog which are the smaller dogs in each picture.
Both pics were from a few days ago when i first went to the er a few days ago.
My oldest had over while my wife was tied up with me and couldnt get home.
We have adult kids with familys who live very close by.
Oldest daughters back yard can be seen from our back yard. Wifes son who is the oldest is living in her second home which was her mothers home in the same gated community that we are in but is lake front property on lake Grabury Tx.
