"Concluding a long-running legal battle, the European Court of Justice ruled that the iPhone maker must pay 13 billion euros ($14.3 billion) in back-taxes to Ireland."

"Minutes later, the court also upheld a 2.4-billion-euro fine against Google, one of a string of high-profile EU competition cases targeting the tech giant."

They said this morning that the EU is home to 4 out of the 30 or so big tech companies. Gee I wonder why?

Ireland drew lots of tech companies and had a huge economic boom BECAUSE the corporate taxes were lower but now they're trying to renege on that which is what this is all about.

This is no different than all these credit card companies moving to DE and ND to do business.
