The article below discusses the upcoming CA 5 June primary. CA has a rule where the "top two" advance to the general election. the state’s “top two” open primary system allows the two leading vote-getters — regardless of political parties — to advance to the general election. The list of DEM candidates for House seats is large. What strikes me about this election is just about every Democrat candidate is running expensive tv ads. The CA Democrat party must have a lot of money or is laundering money to their cronies. There's three Democrats running ads just for the governorship. The other thing that is strange is that every ballot has been sent out as a mail-in but people can still vote on voting day.
