Could face life in prison? How about beating them repeatedly and then putting them in a freezer? Violence begets violence. It's not right but this boils my blood.
Maybe life in prison is good for them. Let all the other inmates know what these 2 did, turn around and walk away.

If found guilty, they should simply be put out of their misery.

and there are people that aren't capable of having children that would kill to have that little girl. Makes my blood boil.

I won't speak of how I feel about this.

That being said there are times I am harsh with my daughter for legitimate parenting reasons (not physically) and it kills me sometimes.

There are times I grouch at her because I am wrong for whatever reason and I always try to apologize and explain that sometimes grown ups make mistakes too. (Again not in any way abusive).

My daughter just calls me her Polar Bear as I like the cold and I growl a lot.

Point is I am just being a half decent parent and half the time I feel like I am horrible. What I think of people who truly hurt children.....well it's black and white with no gray.

These two should burn, literally.

I suspect it was mostly the boyfriend who was being abusive, while the mother did nothing to stop it.

I remember once hearing the advice that single mothers should wait till their children were grown before entering a new relationship. That the rate of abuse by step-males was quite high.
