I forgot about US50 being closed across Gunnison Resevoir. I’d have chosen to go over Wolf Creek anyway.

Respectfully, one minor correction. The Gunnison river feeds Blue Mesa Reservoir. Wolf Creek pass is a wonderful drive. We usually took the other fork at South Fork. My childhood stomping ground all the way up to Creede.
