Word is going around that if you
put Hershey's syrup in a glass of Coke
it tastes just like liquid Tootsie roll,
only better because of the carbonation

Results are so by noon on Monday.

Is this dish on the Food Pyramid? We drove past the Tootsie Roll plant at least once per week and the air smelled strongly of Tootsie Roll. We never went in. Another factoid:
Soldiers ate Tootsie Rolls for quick energy, as a morale booster, and because they were included in WWII rations for their durability (resistance to melting, individually wrapped). A famous incident during the Korean War's Battle of Chosin Reservoir saw Marines receive airdropped Tootsie Rolls instead of ammo (code-named the same), using them to stave off hunger and even patch bullet holes in equipment in the freezing cold, crediting the candy with helping them survive.

I would not call it a liquid Tootsie Roll but it has a good flavor.
Chocolate Coke has its place. I used to get one at Frisch’s when I was a kid but their Vanilla Cokes are the best.

Put two drops of soy sauce in vanilla ice cream for a butterscotch or caramel flavored treat.

It’s how they do it on the ships.

Think I will have to buy some Hersheys and give it a try. Peanuts in a bottle of Coke is also something I enjoy.

Would Dr. Pepper or Pepsi also work?

I've got a lot left over from a New Year's Day party.

If I drink Coke, the only thing I'll put in it, beside frozen H2O molecules is some Old No. 7.
