Enjoyed seeing your trip. Years ago, I rambled around some of the areas you rode.

My favorite area in what little I've visited of WV is Green Bank.

It's a nice piece and bikes like this are ideal for this kind of riding. Everything I took (including air pump, tools, and tubes) fit in the panniers so I could have easily strapped my camping gear on the back seat. Bob and Jim had no extra room, everything was on the back of their 690's so if we camped they couldn't have taken those bikes. (In retrospect I think that's why they pushed for staying in the motel!)

Well other than the "samples" which the three of probably totaled 1 shot, yes. Smile

Hope you had as much fun as we did.

I love riding in Missouri. I rode to the BMW rally in Springfield in June and took a couple days riding the Ozarks of southern Missouri and NW Arkansas. Beautiful country and great roads!

Greenbank (Pocahontas County) is nice. I really enjoy riding around in eastern WV / southwestern VA. And western NC, eastern TN, north GA,.... Basically other than major cities I love riding most everywhere in North America.

Look on AdvRider there are always a couple popping up on there.

Looks like a great ride. I can’t wait until temperatures finally drop below 90 here. Today cooled down to 92. I don’t like riding in temps above 90.

Why? Depending on your location it may be a good time to buy.

Norman your season is beginning, here it's winding down. Frown
