I didn't even watch the last movie based on reviews. The franchise is probably dead after this.

I can't be disappointed as I never really was into or watched much of any of Star Wars.
Not surprising though. Frown

I was into IV, V, and VI…could recite TESB word for word at one point in my late teens. What a nerd!!! Razz

As for the other 6 episodes, I could take them or leave them. Aside from the original trilogy, Rouge One outshines ANYTHING ELSE anyone tried to do with the franchise. JMHO…

Don’t see myself wasting money on this woke bull excrement… Roll Eyes ESPECIALLY given Miss “I like to make men uncomfortable.” How ‘bout a hearty F*** YOU, lady!! JSMH……

Pretty much how I feel also. Rogue One was good, but the rest of the new ones stink.

I was a huge Star Wars fan as a kid. I can't stomach any of the new stuff coming out though.

A little more detail on this person. Mind you, she's not an Oscar Winning Film Director. She's an Oscar Winning Documentary Director. She's never directed a movie before and now she's probably going to blow $300 million on another failure.

Peaky Blinders was very good, so maybe Steven Knight will help this out a bit. I won't be holding my breath.

Soooo, let me make a prediction.

* The movie will be SOOOOO woke (and lame)

* They will blatantly crap on white men and traditional conservative values

* We will be flooded with 'girl power' BS

* It will suck and people won't watch it

* Instead of honest introspection, they will immediately double down and blame 'white men' for not seeing the movie.

* There will be a sequel, and they will conclude they need to be MORE lame and MORE woke

Disney will end up totally destroying the entire Star Wars franchise

For me anyway, it's already destroyed. Nothing can save it and they might as well burn it to the ground at this point.

The only way to save Star Wars is to let it go dormant. Nothing new for a decade. Then come out with a new trilogy that replaces VII-IX, declares them non-canon, and gets back to what the original trilogy was. I don’t think Disney is the custodian that can do this. They may destroy it to the point that somebody else will buy it and resurrect it, but this won’t be anytime soon.

Disney is doing their best to make the Holiday Special look like good content.

Yep, 2 episodes that nobody watched. Hell, I was about to write something on Nia DiCosta who directed "The Marvels" before I had to stop and remember that Disney+ series.
